Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)
Parent Consultation and training model– Behavior Consultation Only
In this model, a Behavior Consultant or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide behavior consultation and parent training according to the needs of your child and your family. This can range from learning and implementing new parenting skills, changing family dynamics and current behavioral patterns of the family, responding to challenging behaviors, or implementing programs to teach your child new skills.
Tiered Model of service delivery – Behavior Consultation and Behavioral Health Technician
In this model, a Behavior Consultant or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will develop a treatment plan with you. Following agreement of the treatment plan goals, the Behavior Consultant or the BCBA will train the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement the interventions within the treatment plan.
Services provided across various settings – center-based, school, home, and community
Independent of the service delivery model, services are delivered wherever there is a behavioral need and where those services are prescribed. Services can be delivered across the home, school, community, or at the Expressive Pathways clinic.
